I'd like to convert a number of different document formats to text
formats on unix.  I'm interested in outputs from various PC packages:
WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, WK1, NOTEPAD.

Are there any converters to RTF for these formats than run under
unix?

Are there any direct text converters for these packages that run under
unix?

Will consider public domain or comerical software.
