I'm trying to install METAFONT for the first time. I ran the configure script,
identifying myself as a SUN_V3. It creates the archive library and then tries
to run "tangle mf.web virmf.ch". I receive a message:
! Hmm... 1 of the preceding lines failed to match. (change file l.1021)
(and then later)
"(Pardon me, but I think I spotted something wrong.)
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `virmf.p'
My RCS header for dist_inimf.ch says Revision 1.3 87/03/06.
Is this where the problem is? If so, can someone e-mail me the
necessary version?
