I hope this is not a duplicate posting. The original appears
not to have got beyond the local system:

I have been attempting to get EROFF (Elans version of troff for
the IBM-PC) to output a TIFF file. I have followed the instructions
in the manual but keep getting the message

elj: Cannot allocate memory to decompress TIFF file

The micro has 640K and the printer 1.5 Mb so the message does
not help much.

Any help to make the TIFF file print would be much appreciated.
