Using mm on a 3B15 running System V 2.1.1, I get three characters
at the top of the 2nd column if I use DF/DE to put a display on
preceding page. The characters are always: ')z
This string does not appear in my text(s). The DF call is on p.
5, say, the display prints fine on p. 6, and the mysterious characters
appear on p.7, always top of column two (using .2C). Drop the
display call, and the characters go away.
The string probably has more characters, but they are spaces; thus the
top lines will look so: may ')z write the first disk's
directory ..............
Any clues?
