🚀 go-pugleaf

I'm having some trouble using the \special{} feature of dvips
4.0 (is this the current version?).

Here is my environment:
	Sun 3
	Apple laserwriter 
	Fig, fig2ps, SunDraw, Picsure (PVI)

Problems:
	1. I can get the postscript pics from Picsure and Fig to
	print (\special{psfile=blahblah hscale=50 vscale=50})
	BUT I can not scale or reposition them.

	2. Encapsulated PS from SunDraw is rejected by the
	printer (BINARY FILE REJECTED).

This is a sample of what I've tried:

\end{figure}

BY DOING STRANGE THINGS TO vbox and hbox (above) I can get the
drawing close to where I want it. This particular drawing (Fig,
fig2ps) is almost a full page and I would like to scale it down 
to ca 80% of its present size.

Any simple problem can be made insoluble if enough committee 
meetings are held to discuss it.
