I was recently called in to work on a new PC clone, and it had BIOS
from the Mr. BIOS corporation. And if that wasn't weird enough, this BIOS
contains some type of antivirus code, perhaps an MBR protector or something.
Does anyone out there in the real world know anything more about this BIOS
and the ramifications of BIOS based AV software?
Thanks in advance,
Joel A. Frahm, Joint Institute for Labratory Astrofizzics.
