Regarding the question of changing the SERIAL NUMBER of a DOS disk. An undocumented DOS function 69h which will GET or SET the serial number of a disk is discussed in PC Magazine, July 1992, V11N13, Page 496. A PASCAL program listing is included with the article and the program itself is avaiable from PC Magazine. Regards, Jack Davis jack@csn.org
