It's a bug in HP cpp (in both, ansi and non-ansi versions) which they promised to fix for the next release! As a workaround you might want to use the ccp from the GNU gcc release. This is what I use in config/InterViews/local.def: #undef CCDriver #define CCDriver CC -tp,/usr/local/GNU/lib/gcc-lib/hp9k720/2.3.2/cpp -Wp,-lang-c++ This works for me! Hope that helps!
