Hi -

I'm new to this newsgroup, and I didn't see a FAQ, so I thot I'd ask a
question that I'm certain has already been answered a few times.

I went to stanford and go the latest IV, 3.1. I also looked in contrib
and g++ and got the suggested files there. I read the README files in
g++ to see about using gcc, but saw that they were somewhat old.

The question is whether the new gcc is now compatible enuf with IV as
to not need the patches or requiring down-reving of some sort.

I did read in this group that a few people have been having trouble
with docs and idraw, and I went back and retrieved the appropriate
SUN4* file.

Now another interesting question... Has anyone ever ported this stuff
to a 68030 embedded system using pSOS+???

Please reply to the below address, as I don't regularly get this newsgroup.
