I got the same error on Esix SVR4.0.3A. The solution is to raise some
configuration parameters in the kernel. This is what my /usr/conf/cf.d/stune
looks like:

Add those values to your 'stune' file and rebuild the kernel. Then it should be
possible to build 'ibuild'.
