Hi,

Can't make out what the exact problem is. My system staff downloaded
InterViews 3.1 from interviews.stanford.edu from pub/3.1.tar.Z.

When I tried to compile an example from .../iv/src/examples/box1/main.c, it is
giving the following errors ..

I copied it as box1.C and did a make.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--
CC -c box1.C -Div2_6_compatible -I/usr/local/share/InterViews/iv/src/include/InterViews/2.6 -I/usr/local/share/InterViews/iv/src/include/IV-look/2.6 -I/usr/local/share/InterViews/iv/src/include
CC box1.C:

Sorry, too many errors

There is a lot of difference between the file layout.h and the one specified in the
manual(chapter 11). How can it be that the file refman.PS that we got is the latest
version and layout.h( for example) possibly an earlier version

Can somebody suggest what the problem could be in this case. This could be the same
with the other files we have with us. We are definite that we downloaded 3.1.tar.Z only.

Thanks in advance.
