I think it is safe to say that all the major database and
forms package vendors are looking at X implementations. Depending on
your time frame, some may be ready when you need them.

A more interesting question is the look and feel issue. You would
like a form running under DecWindows to look and feel like DecWindows,
but would like the package to also support Open Look, Motif, and anything
else that may come along until a look and feel standard develops. If
anything slows up introduction of X implementations of the popular
forms packages, it will be trying to come up with clever solutions
to this.
