I have a PC equipped with a mother board ' Asus Cuv4X-E', 256 Mo of memory
live, a pentium3 1Ghz, and a modem 'Motorola SM56 Fax Modem', and
I use Windows Me like operating system.
My problem they is that dice the opening of a session of navigation on
Internet my modem displays the following message:
" connected to XXXX with 33000 bps " and I do not know how to change
this speed to benefit from the maximum speed which my modem allows
(i.e. 56000 bps).
Also the speed of transfers is always fixed at 2ko/s
Note: limps of the properties of
modem in ' the manager of priphriques' indicates well that speed
maximum the modem is 57600.
can you help me?
And thank you in advance.
