Can anyone help me out with a few questions re: Windows 3.1?

1) Is there any way of changing the default directory that Control Panel
   searches for wallpaper files?

2) Is there a way of changing the $ sign in Solitaire to a #(pound) sign?
It really bugs me that it was a pound sign in Win 3.0, but not in the
   new improved super 3.1

Can you EMail any suggestions please, as I don't get onto news very often.

Thanks,
Liam R Myron.
