Here's a real brain-dead question.... Is the file WINA20.386 included with the windows 3.0 distribution disks? When I installed it and tried to run windows in enhanced mode, I recieved an error saying that I need that file. I was able to get it from a friend and it worked fine. Unfortunately, I had to reinstall windows at a later date due to other reasons (HD space), and guess what....no WINA20.386! At some point, I guess that it got erased from my root directory (probably my roomate's doing) and I cannot undelete it. So I figured, Hey, it'll be on the installation disk, but no dice. WHat's up with this? Am I just hopeless or what? [and the usual symptom list] FAQ number something-or-other. It's part of DOS 5.0; see section 4.3 of the MS-DOS README.TXT file. Joe Morris (ps: this isn't really an MS-DOS/Windows newsgroup. You might direct future questions along this line to one which contains 'ms-windows' in its name.)
