I just purchased WINFAX PRO 3.0.  I have a 9624BS Superlink Fax/Modem.
It is set on COM2.  My problem is that when I send a fax sometimes it
goes sometimes it doesnt.  I fax to a friend alot that has a answer
machine and during the initial message you have to push the send
button on my fax machine for his fax machine to recgonize that it is a
fax. But with WINFAX without a SEND button to push sometimes it picks it
up but most of the time it doesnot.  How can I make WINFAX work with a
setup like that? I listen to the fax through the computer and when it
starts to dial it starts sending out pulses that sounds like it is
trying to tell that it is a fax but it usually stops before the
connection is made.  I also fax to another place that has a Cannon
FaxPhone50 and it sends out a pulse like signal when the connection is
made.  But I cannot send a fax through WINFAX to it.  It keeps giving a
message +FING011. Can someone help?  How can I make it work?

It's worst with the standard Windows screen saver.  The fax refuse to
answer the phone.  I had to remove the password protection.  Now it's O.K.
