Hello all you DDK fans. I am using the PCL driver from the DDK version 3.0. It works the way I want it to. Now comes along True Type. As far as I can tell, my driver and device can handle True Type, but the true type fonts are not being add to the list of fonts for the printer. What I want to know is this. Do I have to spend a bunch of bucks and time to upgrade to DDK 3.1, or can I make the driver tell Windows that it will support True Type fonts. I am assuming that the driver itself is not involved in the generation of the character glyphs, and that the whole thing looks like soft fonts to the driver. Am I correct? I also have a problem with the SDK. I made a windows with edit controls in them. I wanted to allow tabbing between them, so I implemeted tabbing ALA Petzold. It works, but my machine BEEPs with every tab or shift-tab. ????? Thanks in Advance, Gordon McFadden, gordon@tgivan.wimsey.bc.ca
