Two unreleated subjects... In a networked Windows environment, is it guaranteed that every user has their own Windows directory even if they share the Windows system directory? Is there a reliable way to detect whether the system has a full-color display card (24-bits/pixel)? Is using GetDeviceCaps and the PLANES and BITSPIXEL info a good idea? If you know the answers to these two questions, I'd appreciate it if you'd either send me e-mail or post your response. Given the general problems I'm having adjusting to rn (I've been a notes/tass/tin user in the past), I'd really appreciate it if you e-mailed anything you posted. Thanks in advance, Kirt ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kirt Alan Winter kirt@sdd.hp.com Hewlett-Packard -- Desktop Color Management Team (619) 592-4962 San Diego Printer Division ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
