Functionality of Combo Boxes ---------------------------- 1. Can the listbox of a combobox have a horizontal scroll bar? 2. Can the listbox of a combobox show tabbed text strings? 3. Can the listbox of a combobox trap DoubleClick Mouse events? 4. Is it possible to get the handle to the listbox of a combobox? 5. Why is the listbox of a combobox different from a standard listbox??? I assumed a combobox is comprised of an edit control and a listbox. Hence, I tried a GetWindow, GetNextWindow iteration to try and obtain the listbox handle with the intention of passing it standard listbox messages like LB_SETHORIZONTALEXTENT etc. I could not obtain the listbox handle at all and even if I could, I'm not sure it will behave similar to a standard listbox. Is it possible to achieve any of the above? Any suggestions/tips would be welcome. Postings to this group or e-mail would be great. Niraj Saran niraj@vmxi.cerfnet.com
