Can anyone tell me how to access specific hardware memory from protected mode Windows? I know that it's done through special selectors or something, and that they're exported by KERNEL.EXE. eg an MDA card's memory can be accessed at B000:0000 through KERNEL export #181: __B000H. It dowsn't seem to be a function which returns a pointer to memory, and simply referencing it as if it was a pointer doesn't work either. any clues??????? martin wink...
