I'm developing a windows application using Borland c++ 3.0. I need to sample the data from an A-D board every second. Using SetTimer to request a WM_TIMER signal is not reliable enough (?) as this signal is not always sent if another window is consuming cpu time, etc.. Is there an alternative approach? I've tries using setvect() but am unable to make it work properly under windows ... i.e. my signal handling routine never gets called.
