Why don't you just compose and .hlp file and use Windows' help system?
It may take some time and effort to write, but the result is worth it.
(QuickC does support WinHelp, doesn't it?)
If you are doing a small help system, 30 cards or less, I found
Xantippe to be real quick and easy. It's a shareware package
available on cica or wuarchive.
