I'm using a listbox in a dialog box with the LB_HSCROLL style. I also
send an LB_SETHORIZONTALEXTENT message to set the width of this box
(usually to 8 times the number of characters in the widest line).
This works great in one of my dialog boxes, but in another of my dialog
boxes where I follow the same procedure, it doesn't work.

Does anyone know of some conditions which would cause this to work in
one place and not another?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff Thompson
