Windows 3.1 includes a COMMDLGS.DLL, which contains exactly what you want = 
a common set of dialogs and routines to open and save files. Take a look at
Word for Windows 2.0, for example, and you'll see what they look like. Also,
Borland's ObjectWindows has a different set of routines, with a different
look and feel, called STDDLGS.
