Do BitBlt() and/or StretchBlt() work in MM_ISOTROPIC mapping mode?

My problem: I REALLY wanna use isotropic mode (I don't want graphics
distorted by a non 1:1 aspect ratio), and I need to use BitBlt and/or
SetBlt()...

I've read and re-read Petzold, pp. 618, 619, but I still cannot get
either BitBlt or StretchBlt to work in MM_ISOTROPIC mode...

So do blits work in ISOTROPIC mode? If so, PLEEEEEEEEEEASE let me know
how to figure out the parameters to BitBlt() and StretchBlt().

Thanks in advance,

Terrell
