I would like to be able to load arbitrary Icons and manipulate them in a utility I am writing. The SDK routines support Icon loading for _known_ resources, but I can't seem to find how to access _unknown_ icon resources. That is, LoadIcon requires the icon name or int resource id. FindResource, on the other hand, works with accelerators, bitmaps, dialogs, fonts, fontdirs, menus, and user data, but not icons. Should I be treating icon data as user data somehow? Also, there are some undocumented functions for handling icons: LoadIconHandler, GetIconId, LoadDibIconHandler; any idea how to use any of these? ... wondering in netland, Sven -- +---------------------------------------+ Sven Berg tyche@milton.u.washington.edu +---------------------------------------+
