I need a way to convert a scaled value in Visual Basic to a
pixel value.
Explanation:
I have the scale set to (280,210) for my form. I am using BITBLT to
display bitmaps on the background of the form, but BITBLT uses a pixel
value in its call for the X & Y locations. How do I go from a
Scale value to a pixel value?
Next question:
Is there any way to find the value of a Variable while Visual Basic is running?
I would like to write a routine that expands on the VAL function.
Example: Print Val("3+5") always results in a 3. I'd like to change it so
the result is an 8. Example 2: Print Val("3X") would print 3, but I want it
to display 3*X (whatever the value of X is). Is there a VB internal routine
that would tell me the value of any variable that I pass to it?
Any help would be muchly appreciated...
