\OWL\EXAMPLES\GDIDEMO option 'FONTS' crashes: why?

With BC ++ 3.0 with AF there is an example in OWL\EXAMPLES\GDIDEMO
which has 4 Demos as options.

The FONT demo causes an "UNRECOVERABLE APPLICATION ERROR" when selected.

Please tell me why.
