Hi Peoples, I'm one of the poor souls who got ripped off baddly by our friends at MicroSoft for the SDK. I'm writting an app. which requires that several windows are active (i.e. drawing) in the background (i.e. I want to draw in a window which may be hidden under another widow). I attempted to do this via the MDI, but the device contexts seemed to do funny things. The crux of the question is can anyone recommend a good text which is suitable as an introduction to the more complex application concepts in Windows (not the rubbish they give in the SDK set) as well as a good reference (although I will admit that MS provided a reasonable reference...) Regards, Andrew D.
