Replying to a request by mullens@jamsun.ic.ornl.gov (James A. Mullens),
I have uploaded the files SETBUS.ZIP and SETBUS.TXT to wuarchive (IP:
128.252.135.4) in the pub/MSDOS_UPLOADS directory. This utility allows
you to force 8 or 16 bit mode bus access on an SVGA card, even when
there is an MDA on the same bus.

It works fine on my ET4000-based card (Orchid ProDesigner II). I can't
remember for sure, but I think I found this in the STB section of the
GRAPHVEND (or some such) forum on Compu$erve.
