To comp.windows.ms.programmer Can Anyone Out There Help Me? I want to do i/o to a port (to/from an a/d converter) in a MS Windows 3 program. How do I go about doing this when I am not supposed to use calls direct to the hardware? There seems to be no documentation about this in the SDK manuals or any of the books I have. Its as though i/o doesn't exist unless its a mouse or keyboard. I would be gratefull for advice on this subject and to make contact with anyone trying to do this stuff. Are there any books that do go into this for Windows. I'm using the SDK and MS C Version 6 Yours - Thinking MS Windows may have been a mistake- Dave Roy roy@asel.udel.edu Applied Science and Engineering Labs A.I. duPont Institute DELAWARE
