I'm trying to translate a small C++ DOS program to run as a Windows app and I'm having trouble because the program writes directly to an area above 640K (D000:0000), which is where an IO card that the program works with attaches. The program throws an exception (GP fault) when it attempts to write bytes to that area of memory, obviously because Windows runs in protected mode. So how do I send data to the card? A small example of code would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kai Kenner forte@cerf.net
