I have been trying to find example code that will
read in images from tiff version 5, win 3 bmp and pcx
files.

This is not very well explained in the SDK documentation,
particularly how to cope with run length encoding and other
coding.

Help with code to do read image files would be appreciated as
it will shorten the time required to port a research program
from an X11 environment to Win 3.

This is being done as part of a research program for a Master
of Engineering and not for commercial purposes.
