creating composite bitmaps

I have a simple question concerning the creation of
composite bitmaps.

Consider the following situation:

Let us say I have two offscreen device contexts, picDC and
bufferDC, each with its own bitmap, picBitmap and
bufferBitmap.

         picDC - picBitmap
         bufferDC - bufferBitmap

Furthermore, picBitmap contains a bitmap image upon
which I want to overlay the image of bufferBitmap in order to
build a composite image using BitBlt.

The BitBlt needs to work as follows:

    - for every bit in bufferBitmap that is NOT a 0 (it is colored)
copy the bit color from bufferBitmap to picBitmap

    - for every bit in bufferBitmap that is a 0 (it is not colored)
leave the bit color in picBitmap alone

I am unable to come up with the correct rop code for this.
This is similar to SRCCOPY, except that only the colored
bits are copied.

Can someone point me to the appropriate rop code?
Unfortunately, QuickC for Windows does not have the
full rop code documentation.

                                                      Thanks,
                                                       Gary Letourneau
