BORLAND Products don't work under Win 3.1 in High-Res Graphics Mode

I just received Windows 3.1 and installed the 
'8514/a' graphics driver shown in the install
selection. This works great with my ULTRA 
graphics card and all my applications except for
BORLANDs. All the popup windows are scaled 
wrong, the edit fields and list boxes overlap
and break out of the popup window. I think 
the BWCC.DLL does not work with this driver.
I haven't found any other product that causes
any problems except BORLANDs. This is a driver
that is supplied with all copies of 3.1, you'd
think that it should work?
