Win31 MMSYSTEM.DLL (Multimedia functions)

Could someone point me to a reference that describes the use of
MMSYSTEM.DLL in Windows 3.1? The book Maximizing WIndows 3.1 has a small
section describing some of the string commands to pass to the mciExecute
function. However, it doesn't say anything about the dozens of other
functions in the DLL that I found using Borland's IMPDEF.

The complete MME API can be found in The Multimedia Programmer's Reference"
from Microsoft Press. Or you cold buy the Multimedia SDK. (To use these
API calls you will need the mmsystem.h header file. As of now, this is
only available with the MME SDK. More bad news: The MME SDK is ONLY
available on CD-ROM. Good news: Borland Said that they will support the
MME API under BC++ 3.0. (Is this included in the announced update to
3.1? Does MS C/C++ 7.0 include the MME API header?)

Yes. C7 includes the 3.1 SDK which includes mmsystem.h. I know this is
true because I felt it in a dream.
