UAE when exiting a VB app - why?

I'm having a problem with ending a VB app.....I am writing an application and related DLLs to access a real-time database running on a VMEBus system via UDP and TCP/IP. Everything seems to be working fine, but when I exit my app (using the "END" statement) I get a UAE. Running this app under Windows 3.1 reveals the the UAE is comming from VBRUN100.DLL. I've noticed when I use the "Close" menu item from the apps system menu I don't have a problem....my question is two-fold: (1) what could be causing the UAE, (2) what can I do to simulate the closing of the window via the system menu? I've tried using PostQuitMessage and DestroyWindow API calls, but these do not work. I don't believe the problem lies in the DLLs (they work without problems when called from a C program). Can anyone help me out? Thanx, Scott (313) 758-8724 -- Scott Butler ------------ 100% disclaimer-free!
