I found two problems in win3.1 API/binary compatibility:
As far I can see 3.1 does wrong as compared with 3.1 and 
the Programmers Reference for version 3.

Problem 1:
        If you Register an application with lpszMenuName=NULL
        you will not be able to assign a menu later by
        LoadMenu + SetMenu.

Problem 2:
	If you use SetViewportExt(hDC,3,3) to a printer device
        running ISOTROPIC mode, then the returned font sizes
	in GetTextMetrics will get tmHeight, Ascend and Descend
        varying with the value in viewportExt. They should be
        constant!!!!
	This cases DrawText to fail too! It writes lines in a
	rectangle but do not space vertically with a proper
	height value.

I hope that someone will put the list to a FAQ...
