I am a consultant that specializes in only Writing MS Windows, MS Windows NT 
applications. I am currently consulting at Adobe but I will become available 
starting August 1, 1994. I have written some fairly famous applications 
including the Sleeper module in the Norton Desktop for Windows, particapated in 
Xerox Rooms for Windows, SMS Star for Windows, Adobe PostScript printer driver 
for Windows, FrameMaker, Desktop Recruiter to name a few. Starting August 1 I 
should be available for 3 to 6 days a week depending on the needs of your 
project. I have all my own equipment unless you need specialized equipment that 
I may not have. These are my current rates:

I charge:

$100 / hr to consult part time for non-steady work.
$85 / hr to consult full time for short contracts (less than 3 months)
$80 / hr to consult full time for long contracts (greater than 3 months with
first 3 months at $85 / hr)

You can verify that I'm the programmer by seeing my name in the about box in 
the Sleeper in the Norton Desktop or in the SMS Star product. I've been doing 
Windows for over 8 years and I've authored a book on Windows in 1987. I have a 
proven history of shipped products so you don't have to chance getting your 
product "stuck" in Beta test from hiring consultants or full time employees 
with less experience who may not have seen some of the "famous" pit falls of 
Windows programming. I also know 30 of some of the most experienced Windows 
consultants in the business so if I don't know the answer I know whereto get 
it.
