Forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, but... what do I have to do to display .BMP files? More specifically, how do I create a bitmap from a .BMP file? I've just recently started tinkering with Windows programming using BC++2.0 (no I don't have any docs for it!) I know how to display bitmaps that are included as resources, but have so far been unable to do so from .BMP files (they always come out mangled.) If anyone could give me some info (by e-mail or post) I would greatly appreciate it. ---------------------------------+------------------------------------- My opinions are my own. | You can't be proud of who you are The truth belongs to everyone. | if you're ashamed of what you are. In the SDK 3.0 and I believe also in the SDK 3.1 there is a
sample application called showdib, supplied in source code
which does exactly that and some extras.
