The MDK (Multimedia Development Kit) for WIndows includes a program
called WaveEdit for recording and modifying .WAV files. However,
the SOund Recorder included with Windows 3.1 is not nearly as
powerful. Does anyone know where I can get WaveEdit without the
entire MDK package?

First, WaveEdit wont run under 3.1. According to MS support on CI$ this
is being addressed. Second; I don't think it is sold seperatly from the
MMSDK. Third; Get Wave for Windows from Turtle Beach. This is a very powerful
package and only costs $149.
