Has anyone had trouble using TPW to generate .FON files? I have set up
simple code much like the following:
Library MyFonts;
{$D FONTRES 100,96,96: Characters}
{$M 1024,0}
{$R MyFonts}
BEGIN
END.
Where MyFonts.RES is a Font Resource created by Borland's Resource
Workshop 1.03. I rename the resulting .DLL to MYFONTS.FON as told, and
then in the code try to issue an AddFontResource('D:\PATH\MYFONTS.FON');
and the return value is ALWAYS 0 (no fonts added to the system font
table). If I try to load a .FON compiled elsewhere, such as a MS Font
(i.e. SSERIFF.FON) it loads the proper fonts. Third party librarys
compiled under C seem to work as well. Others using TPW seem to have
no problem, including the congregation on CIS. I'm tapped -- any
clues? Thanks for your help! I'd rather not have to go to an external
font development kit...
