Please forgive a really novice question. I am new to the Windows world. I know the answer for the X world, and I was wondering about expanding to the MS Windows. The Situation: I want to record a demonstration, real hardware, real applications, pulling down menus, moving the mouse, selecting things, etc Then I want to play it back on a notebook with an interface to a projector to take the demo with me. No real peripherals, no real applications, but something has just recorded what needs to go to the part of the MS-Windows that manages the screen. For those of you who know X as well, under X, I wanted, and have got something that sits and listens to the conversation between the X server (screen manager) andthe applications (X clients) and records timing information. Later, it plays back the X client dialog. The other potential application is the mass distribution of demos of Windows applications without giving out any software. This will probably also necessitate the recording of syncronous audio, so that the presentation could have an audio explanation while viewing the capabilities and ease of use of the application. If there are any applications like this out there, please let me know. If this is not possible under MS Windows, please let me know that as well. Thanks in advance.
