I have asked this question on Compuserve various times and have not had it resolved so I thought I'd turn here for advice. We are having many problems with windows when it comes to swap files. We cannot use Permanent swap files because they are consistantly corrupted, temporrary swap files seem to work but then it still says the permanent swap file is corrupted (again we are not using permanent swap files) each time we re-start windows. It keeps saying it will delete it or set it to zero but to no avail, next time, same thing. Even when you go into control panel, it says the swap file on drive E: is corrupt and will be set to zero. Not surprising since there is no drive E: on the whole system (ultimately corrupt I guess). Is there any way to stabalize this? I'd like to use permanent but it will not accept it (our hard drives are almost entirely empty so there is plenty of contiguous space). Another question, when setting 32bit disk access to on, windows will not load due to a compatibility problem with another driver. The only addtional driver we load is novell's VTCPIP.386 for Lan Workplace. Is this the cuprit? Thanks, Jon
