Hi all, thanks to those who replied to my earlier posts re QEMM and win3. BUT I still can't run windows in REAL mode!! Symptom is now: win /r -> logo, desktop, opens progman, and then blooie! no mouse or keyboard. win /s win /3 -> perfect operation. I've pared my config/autoexec down to: CONFIG: device=c:\qemm386.sys ram rom X=b000-b7ff dos=high files=40 buffers=30 device=c:\loadhi.sys c:\smartdrv.sys 1024 256 shell=c:\command.com autoexec: prompt $p$g If I replace QEMM with HIMEM, and don't LOADHI then I get real/std/enh windows just fine!! Mark
