Can I use the anykey mapping on a > GATEWAY; can I use Accessories in Windows???? > George, the simple answer is : 1. Under the INSERT menu of W4W 2.0, select SYMBOL 2. The window that opens asks "Symbols from..." and shows you an ASCII code chart. You can select any font and see its code chart. 3. Select Normal Text. You will see every character you asked for in your post above. (Hold the mouse button down to see the character better). 4. Click OK to insert the character in your doc. You can copy/paste later if you don't want to select it each time. For other symbols, try other fonts (including Symbols) if you don't find what you are looking for. Wingdings are worth a look. One more point. If your printer is properly supported by Win 3.1 (you are using 3.1 aren't you?) then by sticking to TRUETYPE fonts ONLY, your old printer will be given a new lease of life. Better still, buy yourself the cheapest secondhand HP-laserjet compatible (e.g. Toshiba PageLaser6) and get better results than with a new postscript laser (if you use True Type only). Symbols will be scalable to any point size, so will your text. So will the fantastic Wingdings characters & symbols.... and you wife will love you even more ;-) Allan Milgate Assistant Director, University Computing Services, The University of Newcastle, Australia.
