In an effort to avoid spending 10 minutes watching the disc light while I simply try to print a large raster, I tried experimenting with banding the output, since what passes for documentation in the MS world implies that the system doesn't try so annoyingly hard to be `helpful' in that situation:-). However, code which previsouly worked now doesn't, in particular, when I call the NEXTBAND printer escape, I get a `Null Selector (Read)' fault, with 'Invalid handle passed to KERNEL GLOBALHANDLE+000c' reported as the last error. The question is, which handle, and why? The printer device context is unchanged from the previous, non-banding code, which worked perfectly. There don't appear to be any other handles either used by me or required from me... so does anyone know what causes this? [All this running 3.1 in enhanced mode, if that makes a difference to your reply...] -- Ian D.
