I recently wrote myself a program that allows me to get printouts
from windows on my old Star Gemini 10x printer. It's a great
improvement over the Generic/Text driver that Windows comes with.
As far as I know, Star nolonger supports this old printer, so I
don't expect them to release a Windows driver for it .
I was thinking of making my program shareware...but only if enough
people show enough interest in it {it seems to work fine, but before
I could allow others to use it, I would need to test it much more
...and add a few bells and whistles to make it easier to use}
I am not a programmer, just a grad student who spends to much time
hacking when he should be working on his dissertation.
If you feel that you may be interested in such a program, email me
