  Does anyone out there know what driver I should use to configure
Windows 3.1 for an ANCIENT Panasonic KX-P1091 (9-pin!) printer?  I
have dug up the Owner's Manual for it, but it predates Windows by quite
some time, so it's no help.  It also doesn't say anything helpful like,
"Your Panasonic KX-P1091 is 100% compatible with the Epson cX-nnnn." --
I checked, twice.  Windows includes their "universal printer driver",
which I am sure can do the job, but it doesn't list any Panasonic printers
of this one's generation.

  I can get workable results by using several Epson models (MX80, FX100,
FX100+, FX185, among others), but I get intermittent, unrepeatable
failures when printing files with Win3.1's Write.  For now I am assuming
this is because I'm not using the right driver.  (For anyone who cares,
it just stops, anywhere in the file, in mid-line often, and then after a
minute or so, the print mngr. will pop up and ask if I want to retry or
cancel the job.)

  Unfortunately, retiring this printer to a more useful role as
Senior Paperweight will have to wait at least a year, unless I hit
the lottery sometime before then (I spent all available funds + then some
on the computer, so the printer will have to wait..)

  If noone out there has any idea which printer driver I should try, then
can someone email me a (current) product support line for Panasonic?
(preferably 1-800-, or in eastern MA...).
