Item 2 is DEFINATELY WRONG. 5.1 has a number of items that simply will 
not be available when saved into a WP5.0 file. Tables is one thing 
that does not make the grade... Equations sort of make it in that they
get converted to a graphic box of some form. SPecial characters have some
problems too but I can't tell you which ones. 

Text only files may work properly, but anything exotic is going to
give you problems.
